Final Paper Submission to ACM/IEEE SEC 2018

Final versions of accepted papers must be uploaded for inclusion in the conference proceedings and to be submitted to IEEE Xplore®. The deadline is 5:00pm US ET, 12 September 2018.

Revise your Paper

Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. Your shepherd must approve your revision before your paper can be published. Please work with your shepherd to agree on a revision plan, then give your shepherd a draft at least a week before the camera-ready deadline so that the shepherd can verify that the revision meets the agreed-upon revision plan goals.

Format and submit your paper

Please format your paper according to the formatting requirements available on the 2018 Third ACM/IEEE Symposium on Edge Computing (SEC 2018) Author Submission Site, and submit your paper on the same website. The detailed formatting requirements are available under the “Formatting Your Paper” on the page “Preparation and Submission Information.” You will need to use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your paper is Xplore compatible, before you submit it.

Your paper must be no longer than 14 single-spaced 8.5" x 11" pages (standard US Letter), including figures and tables, plus as many pages as needed for references, using 10-point font, two-column format, Times new Roman or a similar font, within a text block 7" wide x 9" deep. Place figures and tables at the top and bottom of columns. Avoid placing them in the middle of columns. Large figures and tables may span across both columns. Figure captions should be below the figures; table heads should appear above the tables. Insert figures and tables after they are cited in the text. Use 8 point Times New Roman for figure labels. Use footnotes sparingly (or not at all) and place them at the bottom of the column on the page on which they are referenced. Use Times 8-point type, single-spaced for footnotes. List and number all bibliographical references in 9-point Times, single-spaced, at the end of your paper. When referenced in the text, enclose the citation number in square brackets. Unless there are six authors or more give all authors’ names; do not use “et al.”. Papers that have not been published, even if they have been submitted for publication, should be cited as “unpublished”.

If you are using Word to prepare your paper, the detailed instruction is available here. If you are using Latex and the IEEEtran.cls template to prepare your paper, please use the \documentclass[10pt, conference, compsocconf]{IEEEtran}.
